apple crisp:
(o.k. - so it's not super healthy, but it's really good!)
ingredients:
- 4 cups of apples (about 5 - green or red)
- 1 1/2 tbs brown sugar
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup oats (like quaker oats)
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup margarine, melted
procedure:
- put the apples in a greased baking dish (large pie plate) and sprinkle with lemon juice, 1 1/2 tbs brown sugar, and water
- combine remaining dry ingredients in a seperate bowl; added melted margarine, mix until crumbly
- sprinkle crumb mixture on apples
- bake at 375 f (190 c) for 30 min or until apples are tender
serves: 8, theoretically. depends how naughty you're feeling.
