They Loved their Own Visions

A grindstone,
That earth,
Bathed in red skies,
Breeding breeders
In a gillotine-
Adventure.

See them
In London and Paris and
Toronto--

Collecting daystars:
A Green Day here,
A bloody war there,
And self-help books
For everybody.

This is the ruby of the
Universe,
A grindstone spinning
As the heads fall.
